The Mere Mongols are Dave Harrison and Will Smith (the surrey version). They have been mates for far too long, been to school together and travelled a reasonable amount of the world together. When they decided that it was time to be doing something a bit more adventurous and for good cause − The Mere Mongols were born.

Will

Being forced to constantly live in the shadow of a much cooler and more talented man with the same name, has made Will Smith a strong and determined character. Studying in Bristol, Will is a cool calm and collected sort of character, with a taste for reggae music and steak sanwiches. He was the man who first uttered those beautiful words - "Hey Dave, have you heard of The Mongol Rally?" - which started this entire escapade.

Dave

Studying in Leeds since 2005, Dave enjoys playing guitar, casual tequila drinking and occasionally likes to jump out of planes. In terms of the team; he is both the brains and brawn of the operation. Come to think of it, he will no doubt be the one providing all the skill, cunning, initiative and general know-how that will undoubtedly lead The Mere Mongols to victory. Either that or he was in a slightly arrogant mood when he wrote this.
