The map below tries to depict a vague outline of our chosen route.
After leaving Hyde Park, London on 19th July we shall make our way on to the continent where we will head steadily towards The Czech Republic (Special thanks to The Land of Nod for the Channel Ferry tickets). Somewhere in this country there will be an arranged meeting point where we can rendezvous with fellow ralliers before setting out into the unknown. From here we will make our way through Poland, Lituania and Latvia and then into Russia. Surviving this we will cruise into Kazakhstan, where we will most likely get horribly lost in the desert somewhere, before making the final push through more of Russia and into the target nation of Mongolia. Easy...
The dream is to make it to Ulaanbaatar for 16th August, when the official Mongol Rally arrival party is held. Failing this we intend to make it there no matter how long it takes.
